Upon reaching the sun they sit still and experience their own warmth and imagine themselves radiating out like the sun a symbol of their own innate greatness. On the return trip the yoga becomes very restful and soothing. Cooling or ‘moon’ energy postures are introduced. Children pretend to walk on the moon in slow deliberate gravity defying steps. Balancing postures will be introduced. Lastly as they come back to land on planet earth the children take on very sturdy grounding postures that require firm foundation and focus. They become natural aspects of the earth, i.e. a tree, a mountain, a rock. After this amazing adventure children are asked to reflect on their experiences.Art: Re-create journey by making rockets, planets and moon

For a short period the children are encouraged to enact their own
adventure. We pick the storey line back up and lead them onto their final destination. They begin the search for gold
looking everywhere. When no gold is found the children are
led through a relaxation exercise where they delve inside to
each uncover their own great golden centre. This exercise
leaves them feeling refreshed, relaxed and in a creative mood to reflect on their experiences
